Hello lovely DA Family!
First, I was so excited to receive my 8th D.D. yesterday. Always a lovely surprise and with lots of gratitude.
I'm also working on new content for my DA page, but sadly, my subscription is going to expire in 2 months. I'm asking my fans on DA to help continue my membership for another 6 months by reaching the 2,000 point goal! I currently have 562 points and with your help, I know we can reach 2K!

I have not post a journal for a long long time. It is nice for me to have a healthy topic to discuss with y'all. I'd like to believe we are all healthy adults and are able to speak without insults. So shall we....
First you must know I AM NOT UPSET! It would almost be silly if I were. However I AM wondering what and why caused someone write such irresponsible comments and had no guts to allow me to response. Yes I was blocked by this individual who happened to be a watcher prior to these unfortunate comments.
I am wondering do you sometime also post comments like the below just because you can....? Can't wait to read up on your thoughts
** For Tokyo-lover2 - I know you are NOT this person who vents negative thoughts without reasons. While I do not condone your comments, I am sorry you had a bad day.

Here are two new developments I'd like to share with you:
1) As many of you know I have been working on developing a series of candy products, "Sea Glass" for example. I am ready to send out samples in exchange for your opinions on my products. Please send me a note along with your mailing address indicate you are interested in my prototype candy survey. My apology, this is for U.S. Residents only.
2) I am sorry to announce I am suspending my polls for a while. The reason? I am not cool enough...I let some of your unwarranted mean comment(s) get to me. The truth of the matter is I have feelings too. I at times find it frustrating dealing/defending my position. Again, my apology

Garden Metaphor

May i share this wonderful metaphor i came across when watched "OITNB" Season 4. As many of you are aware i am an avid gardener. I find happiness in my garden. Anyways, i hope you like the piece as much as i do...
The garden is one of the two great metaphors for humanity.
The garden is about life and beauty and the impermanence of all living things.
The garden is about feeding your children, providing food for the tribe.
It’s part of an urgent territorial drive that we can probably trace back to animals storing food.
It’s a competitive display mechanism, like having a prize bull, this greed for the best tomatoes and English tea roses.
It’s about winning; about providing society with superior things; and about proving that you have taste, and good values, and you work hard.
And what a wonderful relief, every so often, to know who the enemy is.
Because in the garden, the enemy is everything: the aphids, the weather, time.
And so you pour yourself into it, care so much, and see up close so much birth, and growth, and beauty, and danger, and triumph.
And then everything dies anyway, right?
But you just keep doing it.
I am more myself in my garden than anywhere else on earth. My garden brings me the type of joy no $$ can buy.....
I dream, my ultimate dream, is one day owning a botanical garden, free of charge, everyone are welcome to spend time there, amongst flowers and tress and butterflies and bird houses and whimsical wind chimes and tranquility. You'll find me at a quaint little cafe right in the middle of the garden, my cafe is filled with my baked goods (cake, pie, cookies, coffee, smoothie, and on and on and on) and laughters...and yup wonderful conversations amongst friends.
This is my dream.
