I helped my friend who had a low budget for a causal birthday gathering, one element she requested was "must be colorful and everyone would eat it". This was what i came up with. If you find the idea appealing/interesting to you, please feel free to use the idea

Tapioca Dessert - What i did...
Cook tapioca according to instruction on the bag. Divide cooked tapioca into four portions. Add food coloring (i use Wilton gel food coloring in blue, red and green). Add granulated sugar to taste.
Spoon - I added 1 teaspoon Raspberry extract to the red tapioca. 1 teaspoon Blueberry extract to the blue tapioca. 1 teaspoon Lime extract to the green and lastly i left the original color plain.
Small glasses - I add fresh raspberry on top and colored rock sugar for fun and for those with a sweeter taste buds (for the little ones).
Small saucer/cup - These Cordon Bleu dishes added a touch of sophistication for the older generation (grandma/grandpa, aunts/uncles and etc.). These were prepared with fresh lemon juice with honey as the sweetener. Honey gives a smoother texture. Quite good!
