:O I keep looking at all of your amazing food photography and I really want to replicate some of it in a 3D software program I've been learning called Blender.
Would you mind if I gave it a shot?

I think it's Lipton. Or a knock off Lipton. XD Lipton isn't all that great anyway now that I think about it. Maybe I'll try Stash or Kazo (I think it's called)?
Funny that green tea would be anything but green, and I didn't find it odd all these years. XD

nor you should today, you are enjoying the tea not the color of the tea right...! my recommendation for some authentic green tea experience is to pay a visit to your local Asian store

How come Japanese Green tea is actually green but other green teas are...yellow? O_O

It depends on production. Japanese green teas tend to be steamed and that allows the tea to have a green color. Others, such as Chinese green teas, are pan fired.
It even depends on the chlorophyl. The Greenest loose leaf tea is called Gyokuro and that is because it is shaded for a few weeks before the leaves are gathered. This makes the leaves produce more chlorophyll.
Then the greenest green tea of them all is Matcha, which is powdered Gyokuro leaves. And since in that case the powder is added to the cup directly.

I've seen Matcha at the Japanese grocery, or should I say, Superstore.
I was't sure if I should get it because it said it was milk based?

Really? That was probably a drink mix. Matcha is supposed to be just the ground tea leaves.

i am not in the habit of answering question like this...But because you have supported my photos all the time, i thought i would this time. The short answer is I don't know. I don't have the answer anymore than you do.

There are thousands of different types of green tea on the market, i am assuming it is because the brand i used yield a greener vibrant color...??? again, i don't know, i can't answer for the items i did not have a hand in it...besides, who cares...if you want your tea greener, add some food coloring if it makes you feel better...??

I wonder though...why is the color of the tea important? a good tasting is what a tea-drink after, no?

anyways, the end of this round of discussion...

Idk, it didn't really come out very well I guess... It looked plain and didn't have much of a green tea flavour.. x_x and with a cake, a cake must look appealing to eat in the first place. So I'll just put more in next time. >w<

Anywayz Thanks again! xDD
