Hello, I hope this isn't a repeat question but I see that in the picture parts of the marshmallows are different colors. For example the green and white one, was it painted with something? I really like all the colors they seem playful and happy
Thank you so much. I bet you didn't know i grew up in Taiwan, i was there for thee weeks at the end of Sept thru the early part of Oct, i loved the visit so much. Last time i visited home was 30 years ago...so needless to say, i am so proud of the changes Taiwan had made. I am proud i was born there
you are correct, the aperture for this image is f2.8 (ISO 100), the best setting for the result. furthermore the focal point was set right in the middle of this shot, the blur for this image was deliberate
Ah, ok. Thank you for answering. If you don't mind me asking another question, are you just a cook, or also a food photographer? (Or even just a food photographer on it's own.) I've seen people who are both and some people who are one, so I was just wondering what you classify yourself as. My step uncle is a food photographer though he doesn't actually make the food, and I've known people who are just cooks but take pictures of their food and post them on deviantART (they're usually fancy cakes and stuff like that.) Just wondering since I know they're technically two different media
Hi, thank you for your questions. In short i am just a mom who likes to mess around in the kitchen and who is also in love with photography. i love to take photos of flowers as you can see from my gallery, lately since the weather has been cold and i spend much more time in the kitchen.
i love to get into food photography one day. all my food photos from concepts to the images you see are 100% my own. i hope you will contiune to visit my page and feel free to ask me any questions. have a great night ~Theresa
Certainly! Thank you once again for taking your time to answer I think it's great you're really into your craft--sadly not everybody can say that and it's easy to pick them out just by looking at their art. If you're considering becoming a professional in the industry, would you like a critique of any kind? I don't mean just on this one either; I really enjoy critiquing and helping out other artists so if there's one you'd like an opinion on I'd be more than happy to help I may not know much about food but I can still help you out with the "artsy fartsy" looks and stuff if you'd like. No worries if not though, I just figured I'd ask since I like helping out artists, especially those who take their work very seriously.
Ember, thank you so much for your suggestion. I am wondering whether it is okay with your sending the critique to me via notes? Speaking of critiques, you are a sweet kind person asking me...lately i am suffering so much for the negative so-called critiques. Like this looks like shit, i wouldn't eat this if this is the last food on earth...and etc.
Please let me know about the note suggestion. thank you again
