Honey Lavender Bites

I love using lavender for my desserts or when i make refreshing drinks...Lavender has been grown as a condiment and used in salads and dressings for the longest time. Lavender flowers yield abundant nectar from which bees make a high-quality honey. Lavender flowers can be candied and are sometimes used as cake decorations.

I also enjoy making homemade "lavender sugar", for this all you need are granulated sugar plus lavender flowers (without stems), add them into a tightly sealed container for a period of one week. When ready to use, you can opt to discard the flowers by using a sieve or simply add your lavender sugar as is. I use my homemade lavender sugar for my lavender pink lemonade.

Lavender + honey dessert is a true winning combo. You should try it sometimes.....
