I made this milkshake yesterday afternoon...Blew my mind, that's how delicious this milkshake was, lol....Each time when i bake brownies, I always have bits and pieces of brownies left behind...Now no more waste. You could also freeze the "remnants" for your emergency milkshake treat!
I opted blue cake sprinkles for the garnish. Just for fun, i added my blue cake sprinkles into my cute elephant salt and pepper shakers (be sure to wash them thoroughly before use). They worked beautifully....No mess either!
The glass steins used here was Dusseldorf Style German Mustard in Beer Stein. This is one of my favorite mustards, i always have some in my refrigerator. I keep the steins as my regular drinking glasses. The coasters are some old tree that I had to cut down a while back (she was sick).
2 cups chocolate or chocolate fudge ice cream
¼ cup crumbled brownies, packed tight
3/4 cup milk (whole, low fat, soy milk)
1 tbsp chocolate syrup
Bite-size brownie pieces, for garnish (optional)
Chocolate syrup & cake sprinkles for garnish (optional)
Using a blender, combine chocolate ice cream, brownies, milk and chocolate syrup. Blend until smooth and pour into a milkshake glass. Garnish with brownie pieces and drizzle with chocolate syrup & cake sprinkles.
